Open Mic Featuring Tom Horsky

June 28 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Tom Horsky

Tom Horsky

We are very pleased to have Tom Horsky as our feature performer in June.

Tom Horsky is a fingerstyle guitarist in the tradition of the West Coast country blues artists, and developed his skills during the blues revival of the 1960’s. Tom grew up in Los Angeles, influenced by local performers Steve Mann, Ry Cooder, and Rick Ruskin. In addition to blues, Tom composes instrumental pieces in his own unique style. Tom’s 2018 release, Origins, is entirely comprised of his original compositions.

Music at the Museum is a three-season open mic that occurs at 1:00 pm on the last Saturday of each month, typically from March through October of each year. Weather permitting, the open mic is held outdoors at the Museum from May through September, and unless otherwise indicated, at the Rindge Meeting House in March, April, and October. In the case of rain (or worse), we move indoors to the Rindge Meeting House. Slots are two songs or ten minutes, whichever comes first, and can be reserved by emailing Ray Siekierski at nooniekirk52@gmail.com.

For additional information, visit the Music at the Museum page!
